How should I dress to attend worship?
We want you to dress comfortably!  Most people that attend the two worship services in the sanctuary wear nice casual clothes such as slacks, golf shirt, dress shirts, skirts, etc. People who attend the worship service in the Family Life Center (First Praise) normally wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts -- very casual attire!

How do I find the church nursery?
Our nursery is located on the first floor of the Children's Center, which is the two story building toward the back of the church property. The nursery is in the Fellowship Hall, which is where the children meet for Sunday School and Children's Church (the yellow room).

What are the worship services like?

First Worship is our early "traditional" service.  It meets in the Sanctuary at 8:30 each Sunday, and follows a includes an informal but reverent style with traditional elements (prayers, creeds, hymns) and wonderful music.

First Encounter is our new service that worships in a more reflective way.  The sermons follow Jesus' style of teaching (stories, objects, and parables), and communion is celebrated each week.

First Praise is an upbeat, rock-and-roll style service that uses praise song you might hear on the radio, videos, dramas, and more to focus on the theme of the scripture each week.

Who preaches at the services?

Our senior pastor, Mark McDonald, preaches the majority of the time in all three services. Walt Garrett and Brad Moore, our associate pastors, also preach regularly.  All of our preachers rotate throughout all three services, and we also have guest preachers or special musical presentations occasionally on Sunday mornings.

Will I ever be singled out as a visitor during the worship services?
We never ask our guests to stand up and never call unusual attention to you during the worship service. We do have a time to stand and greet those worshiping near you, but you do not have to leave your seat.
