Prayer and Praise
Our Prayer and Praise Team meets each Sunday at 5:00 pm in the chapel to pray over the prayer concerns that are turned in on the Gold Cards that morning, and to review the way God answers many of those prayers. It is a small group that keeps the information very private, but we welcome those who are serious about the power of prayer and the private nature of the concerns that are lifted.
Praying while Creating 
Several of our art ministries (particularly our Prayer Shawl and Prayer Pal ministries) are ways that people choose to regularly draw themselves into the presence of God. John Wesley (the founder of Methodism) encouraged us to find ways to connect with God on a daily basis and to share our devotion to God with others. These types of connections are called Means of Grace, and we welcome you to explore creative options that engage you spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. There is no wrong way to connect with God, and if you are excited about a ministry area, others will become excited, too. |
