NEED A NEW START?
Are you searching for a community where you can come as you are and grow into all that you would like to be?
Do you have a sense that there is more to life but need some guidance in overcoming some very real challenges that make your daily life seem far from fulfilling?
When you accept Christ into your heart and commit your life to Him, you take the very first steps of a life-long Journey. You ask for and receive forgiveness and begin your life anew as you enter into a relationship with a living God. This heartfelt and forever-growing relationship with God is the reason for the Journey and is the heart of worship.
The Prayer of Salvation
Prayers like the prayer of salvation are one very personal way we worship. But we can also worship through devotionals, fasting, acts of mercy, and other spiritual disciplines. The most recognized way we worship, of course, is through corporate worship services.
Loving God,
I have tried and tried to make my life right, but I can't seem to win. Please forgive me for being so short-sighted that I cannot trust you. Forgive me for all that I have done wrong, and all that I have left undone, and let me know your forgiveness today.
I know you are the creator, redeemer, and sustainer of all life. I know you have sent your son, Jesus, to show us the way to you. I know he gave himself for my sins. I freely give you my life, and ask that you transform me into the person you have made me to be. Let me live my life for you. Come into my heart, and guide my thoughts and actions from this day forward, that I may fully know your love and joy, and may freely share it with everyone.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
